Demonstration on Genesis heat set paints by Terry Baker on 15 June 2013

Terry explaining the concept of heat set paints.

Terry starts painting the sky onto an acrylic background.

Terry adds more ultramarine blue to the top of the sky.

Terry adds Oxide Red to the sky in order to build up the sunset.

Once the background is complete the painting is heat set to a temperature of 130 degrees C.

Once the canvas has cooled, Terry paints the silhouette of the Giraffe and tree.
