Norbet explaining the method of his painting

Norbet covers his entire canvas with Burnt Umber

Norbet draws a basic outline of the face in the Burnt Umber paint

The paint on the lighter side of the face is scraped out

More paint is scraped out and contour lines are created

The scraped out area of the face is then smoothen off with a soft brush

More smoothening and shaping of the face

The detail in the face as most of the paint is rubbed back and smoothened
