Simone Capazario demonstrated the foundations of drawing

Simone-Je’ Capazorio is a contemporary South African artist and Visual Art educator working full-time and independently from her Art Studio in Benoni, where she also runs her businesses; ‘Capazorio Art Studios’ and ‘Thee Artist Canvas.

After completing High School she studied at the University of Pretoria, earning her Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Fine Art.

Although her work is mostly multi- disciplinary she specialises in realistic, figurative painting and drawing, with a strong interest in portraiture and the human form. She also produces commissioned work, leads workshops, demonstrations and art classes for children, teens and adults alike.

She has a strong focus on tutoring and assessment support for Visual Arts Students and her business highlights her role as a visual arts tutor and assessor  As an active member of the local arts community, Simone is regularly acknowledged through her students’; work for her teaching and facilitation for creative growth.
