Dini Condy

Landscape in acrylic

Dini was born in Zimbabwe where she was brought up on a farm and also educated there. She came to South Africa in 1972 and studied Fine Art at Rhodes University.

She developed a passion for the wide open spaces and big skies that typify the southern african bush. The golden ochres of the bush create a natural backdrop for the rich spicy palette of colours that are reflected in many of her paintings capturing the essence of Africa. Her love of people is seen through most of her works which are also characterised by movement, light and colour where she instills emotion, movement and beauty onto her canvases.

She works in many mediums including Oils, Acrylics, Watercolours, Pastels, Charcoal and Ink.

She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions and been commissioned worldwide, and has numerous art works with private collectors and in corporate boardrooms all over the world: UK, USA, Australia, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Jersey, Germany, Dubai, Zimbabwe, South Africa

Her work has also been featured in the ‘Good Taste’ Magazine, and various Artist directories.
